Subscription Billing & Refund Policy

1. Scope

• This Policy applies only to billing and refunds for the platform subscription service we provide.
• It applies together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where a billing matter conflicts, this Policy controls.
• This Policy does not cover deposits, treatment or procedure fees, or refunds for medical care delivered at any institution. We do not collect such payments.

2. Subscription Plans and Per-Seat Billing

• The service is sold as a monthly subscription priced per physician seat. The billing unit is the number of active seats.
• Subscriptions are modular and selected à la carte, for example a chart and clinical OS module, an interpretation module, a reasoning agent, and vertical AI modules. An all-access plan covering all modules may also be offered.
• The monthly fee is calculated from the selected plan and seat count. The exact module lineup and prices will be published at launch.

3. Pre-Launch Notice

• The service is currently pre-launch, and live billing has not begun.
• Any prices that may appear are hypotheses under review, not final prices, and are subject to change before launch.
• Billing will occur only after a separate billing-terms agreement and an explicit activation step. This Policy is published in advance to describe the terms that will apply once billing begins.

4. Billing Cycle and Payment

The terms below apply once live billing begins.

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly cycle and may renew automatically on the same date each period (recurring payment).
• For recurring payments, we will give advance notice of the automatic renewal and the upcoming charge. You can stop auto-renewal by cancelling before the next billing date.
• Supported payment methods and the payment gateway provider will be announced at launch. We do not directly store full card details; payments are processed through a security-compliant payment provider.
• When a subscription changes (for example adding seats), the difference may be reflected in the next billing cycle or at the time of change.

5. Taxes

• Whether displayed prices include value-added tax (VAT) will be shown clearly at checkout. For domestic transactions, 10% VAT may apply under Korean tax law.
• Tax invoices will be issued to business subscribers on request and as required by law.
• Currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees charged by your bank or card issuer are set and charged by that institution, not by us, and are your responsibility.

6. Cancellation

• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access for the remainder of that period.
• Cancelling stops auto-renewal, so no further charges occur from the next cycle.
• Cancellation requests can be made in the service settings or through the contact email below.

7. Refunds

• Monthly subscriptions are prepaid per period, so as a default no partial (pro-rated) refund is given for a period already started; cancelling stops billing from the next cycle.
• Where a longer prepaid plan (such as annual) is offered, we may refund the unused remaining term under our stated terms and applicable law, with any applied discount recoverable.
• If we fail to provide the service for reasons attributable to us, we will refund the amount corresponding to that period.
• Where a subscriber qualifies as a consumer under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the withdrawal rights under that Act are preserved. However, withdrawal may be restricted, as that Act allows, for digital content or services whose provision has begun with the user's consent.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within a reasonable number of business days of approval. The time to appear in your account depends on your financial institution.

8. Failed Payment and Suspension

• If a recurring charge fails (for example a card limit, expiry, or insufficient funds), we will notify you and may retry within a set window or ask you to update your payment method.
• If payment is not resolved within a reasonable grace period, access may be suspended or limited.
• Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of the subscription, without extinguishing any legitimate fees already due.

9. Changes to Pricing

• We may change plan composition and prices. Changes that are unfavorable to existing subscribers will be notified in advance with a reasonable lead time.
• Price changes apply from the next billing cycle after the notice takes effect, and you may cancel before they take effect if you do not agree.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

• This Policy and any billing-related agreement between us and the subscriber are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Korea.
• For any billing dispute, please contact us before requesting a chargeback through your card issuer or bank. We are committed to a prompt and fair resolution.
• The court of jurisdiction for disputes follows applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time and will post changes on our website with a revised last-updated date. Material changes will be notified in advance by reasonable means.
